As some of you probably know, I just pledged for SAI! After the ceremony I received a rose, which is the fraternity's flower. I wanted to figure out a way to preserve the memory of that event, and create something that the world could see. I pressed the petals of my rose, and now I think I know what to do with them!
I want to create a flower out of the dried petals and set it to a paper background. Then I plan on laminating the whole thing so it doesn't fall apart. I just bought the laminator! All I need to do is figure out what design of scrapbook paper I want, and how I want the flower to look. Maybe you guys can help me out?
Here are some of the ideas I got on Pinterest. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the stem, but I kept the leaves.

What do you think? I just got another rose from my Big, so I might be able to steal some parts (I would prefer not to though.) There are some baby breath flowers in that one and some more leaves. Have you done anything like this? I could use some input! Keep in mind, I would love to frame it and hang it up on my wall.
Thank you!
Thank you!
