-Directors: Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen -Screenplay Writer: Dan Sterling -Story Writer: Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Dan Sterling -Stars: James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Randall Park Plot Summary: "Dae Skylark and producer Aaron Rapport run the celebrity tabloid show "Skylark Tonight." When they land an interview with a surprise fan, NorthKorean dictator Kim Jong-un, they are recruited by the CIA to turn their trip to Pyongyang into an assassination mission." -Written by Sony Pictures Entertainment My Thoughts: Okay, it had a plot with a definite climax, but there wasn't much more to it. It had pretty descent special effects, and was funny to a point, but after a while, it seemed like the whole point was only to be funny. That gets really boring after two hours. I understand the intentions of the film as entertainment to the audience, but it would have been a little better with an underlying theme or moral. I admit, movies like this are not my favorite, but I have come to like some of them. Unfortunately, this one didn't make the cut. Verdict: Only watch if REALLY bored. |
