Guess what! Today is the 100th anniversary of the day Holmes and Russell met for the first time in my favorite book series! The series starts with "The Beekeeper's Apprentice" and is written by the amazing Laurie R. King. I wish I had the time to gush about this occasion, but I am in the midst of concert rehearsals, SAI shenanigans, and finals woes. So instead, I will provide a link to buy "The Beekeeper's Apprentice" and a recording of Wagner's "Träume" for violin.
Why Wagner? Wagner is one of Holmes's favorite composers. When looking through a few of the violin concertos (Sherlock plays the violin), I found this gorgeous piece. I hope you enjoy! |
